I'm Peggy, I'm an alcoholic, I think the grace of God and the fellowship of people

like you in sponsorship, I've been sober since February the 4th, 1964, and for that I couldn't.

I want you to know that this is going to be a kind of a light and let's say sunny look at the

traditions if you will, because it's a Saturday afternoon and if I went through the traditions

traditionally, by the time I got to 6 you would be all asleep because it's nap time and

it isn't that they're boring but they're dry and they don't have to be and that's one

of the things I was talking about, but I'd really like to talk about it in from a personal

standpoint.

I obviously, I'm alcoholic, obviously I drink bad, obviously I had trouble or I wouldn't

have sought out AA for sure, but I was always a weirdo and who I've been, I mean I

thought that but turns out I was that, you know, I didn't just think it, it was confirmed

to me that I was strange, you know, different from other people.

My father would turn around and he'd stop in his tracks and he'd turn around and he looked

at me and he said, what the hell is wrong with you?

I, you know, felt like saying, but wouldn't because he was whatever general at the time,

he was only 10th general, he was 10th general when he retired, I think.

I wanted to say what the hell is wrong with you, you know, because that's my reaction to
