So as we approach what is hopefully the end of a pandemic, hopefully, hopefully, hopefully,

0:05.4

I thought we could finally talk about pandemic movies because people have been talking a lot

0:10.9

about pandemic movies for a lot of obvious reasons. And I frankly did not want to talk about it

0:16.8

because it was when you live in the middle of a pandemic, you don't want to talk about a pandemic,

0:22.1

but now that it's almost over, I feel ready to talk about it with my two buds,

0:26.8

Umberto and Colin. I thought we would give our top three pandemic movies. Let's get into it.

0:33.2

My name is Dr. Kirk Honda. I'm a therapist and a professor. My name is Umberto Kassignat

0:38.1

and I clean masks. I'm Colin Miller. I work for the gay men's mindfulness collective

0:43.0

and I'm currently a little congested. Let's go have medical order. Burdo, give your three for us,

0:50.8

please. Oh man. So lots of movies to choose from. I'm going to start with a little bit

1:15.6

fast zombies, but I never really had had a movie about zombies where I just freaked out about

1:22.4

the intensity. And so here is a movie where, you know, similar plot to a walking dead and, um,

1:29.8

the, the thing of like the guy waking up and like, what's going on? And, but these were so threatening

1:37.0

and they were caused by a virus. And these were not like your usual, uh, brains. No, man, these,

1:45.2

these zombies were coming at you, coming super fast. There was just no getting away. Super intense.

1:50.8

The movie is very tight, very well made. Uh, and I actually felt, I remember feeling kind of

1:56.4

stressed watching it. Yeah. So, um, it could be argued that that movie started the renaissance of

2:03.6

zombie movies that last period. Absolutely. Yeah. Because I remember when that, I mean, if you saw

2:09.1

that movie for the first time today, you'd be like, yeah, okay, whatever. But I remember at the time,
