talk as promised in Micah's re of the week the newsletter I am joined by Brad

Key and his time to talk about the finale of top chef good morning Brad how are

you good morning Micah is an honor to be here I'm glad we made it to the finale

we missed a couple episodes here and there but for the most part really good

season and this has been really fun yeah we missed a couple of episodes

recording but I know you and I did not miss an episode of this show this is a

great show no this was a great season there was no drama this is like a perfect

season for me they got rid of the the douchebag Gabe well I guess there's two

douchebag games but the Gabriel douchebag and then I got to watch him lose

three times in one up one day because he lost on last chance kitchen the cream

really rose to the top here with the with who were consistently the three best

most unique chefs being the final three and I just liked it I think that the

and we're you know we are going to get to the controversy here in a minute but

I kind of want to just talk about Brad your thoughts about the season as a whole

and because my general takeaway was that everybody seemed to like each other

more than usual no one hated each other and I have to think some of that is

because this was shot during covid protocols they were all staying in separate

hotel rooms as opposed to there's not that 24 hour yes I think that the you

know everybody knows the person they work with or you know somebody spouse or

whatever that you go on vacation with who's a nice enough person but like after

you spent two or three days with them you're just like I her voice annoys me
