We're doing a final girl countdown, listing off the top five final girls that Brian and

I have selected.

Brian and I will compare and contrast our list and hopefully have a good argument around

who deserves to be the top final girl.

Brian, sorry, I forgot to ask you about this, but are we going to hit

spoilers in this? Oh, good question. My plan was to try to avoid them if we could. I mean,

just knowing who a final girl is is a bit of a spoiler, but try to keep it as light as possible

on the spoilers, maybe. What do you think of that approach? Yeah, yeah, we could take that approach,

which brings me to the next to the first question

I had for you, the definition of the Final Girl.

So it sounds like you picked people who generally survive at the end of the movie.

Yeah, you know, so the term, I'm going to do the definition as provided by Carol J. Clover, who coined it in her book.

We all know the name of Men, Women, and Chainsaws.

But I don't often read the full title, Men, Women, and Chainsaws, Gender, and the Modern Horror Film.

Wait, you've read that book?
