And this week, Brian is not with us. Or I should say this year, Brian is not with us.

Since the last time we did an episode was a year ago, that also sounds very cryptic because I'm like, Brian's no longer with us.

But what I mean is he's just not here this week. He's fine. Yeah, he's not here for this episode.

He's doing okay.

He was planning to be here, but unfortunately, some technical issues and whatnot, you know, recording didn't happen.

But we're still doing a top 10.

And it kind of, I mean, it kind of ends up working out because I would be like,

Brian, why are you not doing a top 10 this year? Because Brian said he didn't want to do a top

10 episode, top 10 albums of 2021. He said he just basically been listening to music like me this

year. He wasn't, he wasn't going out of his way to discover stuff or anything like that he was just

letting it come to him and so he he he said that he just didn't listen to enough new releases

to feel like he could capably create a top 10 that was accurate so i I hope I'm representing what he said appropriately.

I actually think I kind of fall into that same category a little bit too.

It didn't stop me from being able to make a list,

but I'll tell you later on like a trend I noticed in my own listening habits this year.

I feel like this year was a tough year because this year I listened to probably

the least amount of new music that I've listened to.

And I mean, since like before the podcast.

I think there was one year like maybe like, I forget what year it was exactly like 2016 or

2017.

I was like, I didn't listen to like anything new this
