Hey, everybody. I'm Bill Lambusta, and this is the Great Albums podcast. Welcome to the special

end of year episode in which I'm going to talk to you about my listening habits of the past year.

For those of you that don't know, if this is your first great album's episode, I recommend going

back and listen to something else because this is an episode in which I'm going to be catching up with some of our listeners.

We've been mostly on hiatus for the past couple of years.

We've been just not really doing a lot of stuff the last few years.

But each year at the end of the year, we do some top tens.

And I like to do an episode in which I check in and talk about my

listening habits from the last year because I don't really do a top 10 of listening because

I don't always check out enough new music to really care enough to make like a top 10 of that

year which that sounds like I never listened to new music which isn't true it's just that

you know I don't want to sit there and go like, oh, this is my number seven favorite album of the year when I've listened to it like three times. You know what I mean? Like it's something I've checked out, but I'm not necessarily a fan of. So this is really me talking about what are the things I actually listen to and actually enjoyed during the year, which isn't always something that was a part of the past year or came out within the last year. Sometimes it's,

sometimes it's I've discovered something old. Sometimes it's I've discovered something new.

Sometimes I just keep listening to the stuff that I've always listened to. And I think there's

a little bit of that all throughout this.

Unfortunately, Brian is not here with me today. He said, just go ahead and do it without me.

You know, have some fun. Go and talk to people. With that said, I do want to say, like, you know,

we're ringing in the new year, 2022. I'm actually recording this right before the night it comes out. So a few hours before it comes out.

So it's already 2022, but I'm looking back at 2021.

2022, Brian and I probably aren't going to do too much with the podcast. You know,

spoilers, we may not even get to end of year top tens at the end of this year.
