Consider Simon as a step in accepting every non-recurring meeting. I love that because I think a lot of managers miss the opportunity for opportunities of delegation and developing their folks.

And you're just talking about creating a new habit here is every time

there's a non-recurring meeting think is this something that can be

delegated? Yeah it's literally a step in your process. When it comes to

non-recurring meetings we don't get as much benefit out of delegation.

But there tends to be less risk in delegating those meetings in most cases.

But that said, if we're going to find time for things when we don't have

any time we need to make different choices. In fact I would argue Mike that it's possible there will be a white paper if it hasn't already been written in the next five years, which talks about the vocabulary of time.

I'm going to actually make a note of that. I rarely make notes to myself

in show notes while we're recording but I'm going to make a note about the

vocabulary of time because as a manager guys when you say I don't have time you're actually not

talking about time and the idea of having it is ludicrous and finding it is

also ludicrous what you're doing is making choices about priorities.
