12 p.m. Eagle Bank Arena in Fairfax. The head coach of George Mason is Tony Skin. He's with us right now.

You know, I'm curious as to whether or not you do what sometimes fans do with their teams,

which is if you're not in the top 25, you check to see others receiving votes, which is what I did before you came on to see

why George Mason, or if you were getting votes in the AP or the coach's poll, and you haven't

yet. Do you look for that? Is it important? And why haven't you gotten those votes at 15 and 1 yet?

Yeah, you know what? To be honest with you, I don't look. You know, I'm a glass half-fold type of guy. And, you know, as far as I'm concerned, man, you know, all these games matter. The most important thing for us is VCU tomorrow. And, you know, we're just going to try to continue to play good basketball. And hopefully it happens if it happens. That's great for us. if it doesn't, to be, you know we're just going to try to continue to play good basketball and hopefully it happens if it happens that's great for us if it doesn't um to be you know 15 and 1 in january

mid-juary it says a lot and that's not normal and that's really just the barama and the metric

it matters most agreed but on some level coach doesn't it help if you start to get that recognition nationally?

It does. It does. But, you know, as you know, there's just so many levels to, you know, being at the top 25, right?

We've got so many other metrics like Ken Palm, like the Net. I'm constantly watching that.

And if you're doing what you need to do and you're, you you're right where you need to be with Ken Palm and the Net,

typically that translates into being in the top 25.

Just out of curiosity, is VCU Quad 1 or is that a Quad 2 win if you get it tomorrow?

It's a Quad 2. I haven't checked and updated what they're, you know, since they're St. Louis lost, but, you know, home loss against one of the better teams in our league, one of the better teams in the country. I don't think it changes where they've been, but it's a quad two. All right. Tell me about your team this year. It was a big turnover from what you had last year.

Man, I think it's the individuals that we have in that locker room.
