It's been a busy week.

That's why we've had Ben on so much, but I like having Ben on because I enjoy the conversations.

With Ben, we talked a lot about the Trey Young deal yesterday.

I guess Josh Robbins from The Athletic reported that he doesn't see Trey Young playing much this year,

which is what we kind of guessed.

And it seems like it would make

sense. They cannot in any way put at risk a first round pick in the upcoming 2026 June draft,

right? No, not at all. I think the part, and as I said, it's the reaction and analysis that has me so perplexed.

Yeah, me too.

Because everybody's, like, it doesn't make any sense to think that the wizard really want

Trey Young, that there is, the intention will ultimately be to extend him while simultaneously saying,

don't play 30, 40, 50 games after being acquired.

Like, that makes no sense unless it's more about, hey, we needed to move on from a column

and Kisper because we were getting too good.

And we'll see where Trey Young's at for next year.

Maybe he rehabbed his reputation changes his style or maybe his $49 million contract

is a good trade chip in some way.

But I just still can't believe that they would have upended their entire rebuild and the way they

were going about it for a guy who very talented but very not interested in playing defense

to ball dominant and I just don't see that he's like a winning player ultimately for a really

good team.
