And a few weeks ago, I posted on my Instagram and on my Twitter about a realization that although my intention with this podcast was to help share perspectives from all around baseball, I had yet to have any players of

color on the show and that their perspective being left out was a racial bias that I had to

overcome. And as inadvertent as it may have been, the conversation around race

that's happening in our country right now makes it all the more important to hear the stories of

those African American and Latino players. Today's guest is a former teammate of mine and someone

who has been an active participant in those conversations on race. Oakland A's utility infielder, Tony Camp.

We talked about Black Lives Matter versus All Lives Matter, the Tulsa Massacre, and Tony's new

initiative, the plus one effect.

Baseball might be coming back, but that doesn't mean that things are normal in this country.

We are still

actively battling a pandemic and systemic racism. I really hope that baseball can bring three hours

of rest to fans all the way across the country, but when those three hours are over, remember,
