And we're joined by special guests, former Colorado Avalanche head coach, longtime head coach, assistant coach in the NHL as well as the NCAA. Tony Granato joining us today. Tony, thank you for coming on with us.
0:21.2	And how's your summer been? Hope you're doing well.
0:23.9	Thank you. It's going fast, but I think all of us that love hockey so much are kind of excited
0:29.6	because as we were just talking, as we got ready to start the show, we got college kids on campus,
0:35.4	we got junior teams starting their training camps. We got rookie
0:39.0	NHL camps just a couple weeks away. So summers are great, but when you're a hockey player
0:44.4	and probably hockey fan, you're like, okay, let's speed it up now. Let's get to the hockey
0:47.8	season and we're getting close to it. Last time we talked to you was at the NHL draft.
0:53.3	We appreciate you for that how much of that
0:56.4	preparation gets done between the draft and now and how much of this is more of a little bit
1:01.7	of a vacation time away from hockey well for the NHL teams and Eric will tell you this too
1:07.9	there's not much downtime anymore because you go from
1:10.9	playoffs to do the camp prospects. What's the camp called, Teddy? Well, they go through the weights
1:19.2	and stuff. Combine, combine. Combines. They go to combines and then you've got the draft and then you
1:25.8	got your rookie camps that come in or your development
1:29.8	camps that come in.
1:30.9	So there's not much of a break until really after the first week of Free Agency, because
1:35.9	free agency doesn't end, but it starts on July 1st, and then teams usually go hard for a week,
1:41.7	and then things usually settle down there for a month and a half or so.
1:46.0	But it's, like I said, even guys that played all the way to the finals, you know, summers,
1:53.1	you get your little trips in, you see your family, you do your things, but it's an exciting time
1:58.3	now that the summer's winding down just to know that you're going to get back in competition and get back with your team and your buddies.
