0:13.9	I know this is something we've kind of tangentially brought up a lot across this offseason as one of the topics for the abs to talk about.

0:21.6	into some more specifics of what it looks like, how it can be better, and what realistic
0:26.7	expectations are, too, because we've talked a lot about the abs penalty kill and how it can
0:31.9	improve. But at the same time, when you look at the abs penalty kill, they finished 12th in the league last year for
0:38.9	penalty kill ranking, which isn't terrible. Now, when you look at how that bread got made,
0:43.8	it was a couple of months of a top five penalty kill and then a couple of months of a bottom
0:48.1	10 penalty kill. So yes, every special team's unit is a bit streaky, but Colorado's penalty
0:53.9	kill was that to the extreme last year.
0:56.3	And I think you'd like to see that balance out a little bit.
0:59.5	Now, I'm hyping all this up.
1:01.2	I actually want to talk about the power play first before we get into the penalty kill.
1:04.7	As power play finished fifth last year.
1:09.0	So it's a perfectly capable power play as is, as it should be,
1:13.2	with players like McKinn and Rant and then McCar on it. But that doesn't mean it can't be
1:17.5	better. And it doesn't mean that there aren't other potential impacts to the lineup that we've
1:21.9	talked about before with the potential overuse of that power play one. But I wanted to start here. Power play one. I mentioned McKinn and Randon and McCar. They're going to be on your power play one. Eric, I know you can make an argument for splitting them up. We'll get to that in a second. Before we do that, who else ends up on that power play, especially now with it looking like Arturie Lekin might be ready for the start of the year. He might not quite be ready for game one.
1:46.9	It's pretty easy to me to put Jonathan Druin on that unit to make four.
1:50.7	But that fifth spot, Ross Colton, Casey Middlestat, maybe you're giving opportunity to someone else.
