The Republican-controlled House of Representatives campaigned on a lot of things that they did

not accomplish, but one thing they did was the bidding of the Speaker of the House

Drunk Dayed feeling they sent articles of impeachment to the State Senate against the

Attorney General Ken Paxton.

That procedure will begin with the lieutenant governor as overseeing that the crew has

become an all-star cast, prosecuting the case will be Dick DeGaron and Rusty Harden.

Dick DeGaron and Rusty Harden and defending Ken Paxton will be Dan Cogdal and Tony Buzby.

So, first of all, how did you get involved in this case?

You know, I'd kind of peripherally watched some of this and read some of the reports and

had been contacted by several different people saying you need to represent Ken Paxton.

And I didn't know if I would get the call or not.

First, I got the call and what I figured out pretty quickly, probably in less time than

it took in the four-hour hearing to do all this was that these allegations against Ken Paxton

are just false.

And had they spent any time, any sort of due diligence whatsoever, or allowed him to

appear or having a representative to appear or accepted the package that they quickly

put together, they would have seen that these articles are just false.

I mean, as one silly example, one of the articles has to do with his long running case against

the securities case.
