Summary

On December 30, 2019, a young artist went to a tea shop and boarded a city bus back home. It was a perfectly normal day for her, and a perfectly normal activity. But 22-year-old Tonee Turner never made it back to her home in Hazelwood, Pennsylvania. Shortly after she was last seen, her belongings were found on the pedestrian walkway of a bridge. Did this bright, vibrant young woman decide to take her own life, or was she the victim of foul play? Tonee’s family and community has not stopped searching for answers in a case that they feel hasn’t gotten nearly enough attention.

If you have any information regarding the disappearance of Tonee Turner, please contact the Pittsburgh Bureau of Police at 412-323-7800. If you’re not comfortable speaking with the police, you can also give an anonymous tip to a non-police number by texting 412-689-2812.
