I was in Spain recently.

We got our stuff in storage there.

We were moving it from one storage area to another storage area.

Cassie and I spent an afternoon trying to sort stuff out.

We don't want to pay to store things that we don't need.

We don't even know what they are.

Honestly, I wish the whole fucking thing would burn down.

I don't know, I didn't have to worry about it anymore.

But since that didn't happen, we're going through boxes.

I found some boxes of old papers.

I was going through looking for material that might be pertinent to the book I'm writing right now.

I found a bunch of things I'd written that I've been storing.

What I'm going to read today is an essay that I wrote about the next phase of my time in Alaska.
