Tom versus the JLA, number 249, or wait a second, there's a reason why everyone's acting stupid.

Welcome back for Justice League of America, number 249, April 1986 issue, entitled All Fall Down,

written by Jerry Conway, penciled by Luke MacDonald, inked by Bill Ray, lettered by Albert de Guzman,

Gene DiAngelo does the colors, Andy Helfer does the

edits with the cover by Luke McDonald and Bill Ray. We start off this issue with the Justice

League running into their headquarters in Happy Harbor, which they don't call Happy Harbor. They

just prefer to it as being the hills outside of Metropolis. Are you ashamed of Happy Harbor, Andy Helfer?

I think he might be. Well, they're running into the headquarters with the Vixen because as the last

issue ended, she's become an old and busted woman. Who knows why? I think I might have something to do

with the giant alien creature they've been hanging out with, but I don't know. That's me.

I'm not a Justice League science lab.

I can't piece it all together myself.

So while they're all panicking and running in and gypsy's bringing the creature,

which she's named affectionately Jr., I'd like to refer to it as an alien cousin.

And she's bringing him back into the Justice League headquarters.

Steel and vibe confront her about what's going on.

And this is a really cool writing moment. Because of the things that Steele says, it starts to

dawn on you as the reader that they've been acting really crazy. You know, they find this alien

inside the Justice League head course and they don't tell

the others about it right away. They all just seem to accept it. They're all okay with it. Gypsy's

become really attached to it for virtually no real reason. She just has these really strong feelings

for it. So a stealing vibe or questioning her more and more and asking her, what does she really know

...
