We open on Earth 2, where Supergirl of Earth 1, Wonder Woman of Earth 1, Green Lantern of Earth 2,

and Dr. Fate have just recently defeated a bunch of fictional creatures created by the villain,

the commander, attacking the Earth through Pentagon.

Dr. Fay melded them all into one big black ball of evil Eldritch energy. Now he needs to do something

with it. Usually he would use a pentagram, and it just so happens that the Pentagon is nearby,

so he's going to bury it underneath the Pentagon. That seems like a bad idea. It seems like the Earth through Pentagon is a place where bad people go.

You know, remember, Per Daggeton made his underground headquarters underneath the Pentagon.

Well, he goes ahead and does it anyway.

Good sense is not something that should ever stand in the way of a hero.
