Tom versus the JLA number 227? Or those are some sweet dragons?

Welcome back for Justice League of American number 227, the June

1984 issue entitled Dragon Keep.

This is a special On the Road edition as I record this in Seattle.

I fixed all the problems from when I was in St. Louis, I think, so it's going to sound quite a bit better.

We open up this issue on an island in the Pacific Ocean, which a bunch of robed figures.

Robed, similar to how the Fiatlocks cult members that had worked for grave send

and arsenic were dressed, except they're running on this island.

They seem to be trying to escape from something.

We see them running through the jungle, getting grabbed by vines,

eaten by giant pieces of sod with teeth.

Some sort of forearmed tiger jumps out of a tree. They're sweating. They try to make a break for it as they run for the ocean,

only to get attacked by some totally sweet dragons. That's right. This is a dragon issue.

These dragons are under the control of Lord Claw,

the third member of the leadership of the Fiat Lux that we've seen in the issues.

He also goes by the name the Falconer.

Interesting.

There's no falcons in this issue, yet there are tiny dragons.

I put forth he should have been called the Dragoner,

but I didn't write it, so there
