Tom versus the JLA number 213 or why won't you all just leave Ray Palmer alone?

Welcome back for Justice League of America number 213, the April 1983 issue entitled Into the Microcosmos,

Your roll call for this adventure is the Batman,

Hawkman, Red Tornado, Black, Canary, Green Arrow, and The Adam.

First note, I would have thought up of a more clever name for the microcosmos,

maybe something like the microsmos, you know, kind of use that C and micro, but that's me.

I wasn't the editor of DC's Justice League of America in 1983.

Oh, how I wish I was, though.

We open this issue with Ray Palmer floating in some sort of cosmic background,

just your general cosmic background with comets or something that looks like

comets flying around, big green suns, things, you know, flying around everywhere. He doesn't

remember who he is and he doesn't remember how he got there, but he does remember display his arms

wide like an angel as he floats through whatever weird cosmic situation he is in.

That sets the plate, but let's get to the story.

Huckman is on the saddle explaining that something is up with Ray Palmer.

First we get into a nice little soliloquy about how important Ray Palmer is to Qatar Hall.

He gets a little Billy Shakespeare on us with some sweet words about him saying that

he really is major confidant.

When Shirea, Hawk Girl, disappeared, he sort of confided most in Ray Palmer.

Because they've shared adventures together.
