Tom versus the JLA number 212 or you would think they would have solved that whole water problem before they developed interstellar space travel.

Welcome back for Justice League of America number 212, the March 1983 issue entitled, well, there is no title to this issue, but it was written.

That was written by Jerry Conway with art by Rich Buckler, Paris Collins, and, and Romeo Tangall, Adam Cubert, the letter, Carl Gafford

Colorist, Lenween, editor featuring a cover by George Perez. We start off this untold tale from the

casebook of the Justice League of America with Batman and the Flash arriving at a missile base

in Nebraska. The Flash, angry, that he was unable to fix Red Tornado with his limited forensics knowledge,

rushes in to take on our scaly war con-con alien conquerors, or would-be conquerors.

Flash delivers some nice socks to the stomach and using some speed tricks to take people out,

but he eventually gets blasted from behind by a female Warcon.

And this would be the beginning of a nice theme in this issue of people getting hit in the back when they're not looking.

Of course, Batman tries to warn the Flash.

It doesn't quite work out.

We then cut to Siberia, where the Phantom Stranger and Wonder Woman are at a missile complex

in the Soviet Union, also doing battle with some scaly war-cons.

Once again, they can barely hold their own, and this time though it's Wonder Woman who

gets shot in the back as Phantom Stranger attempts to warn her.

And the man that no one wants to team with Aquaman is in the South Pacific watching a

Warcon ship hovering over a nuclear submarine.

Now, if you're by yourself and you can control sea life, you don't need a team.

You don't need somebody else watching your back.

You know why?

Because you can send a whole pot of porpoises
