Tom versus the JLA, number 200, or, you know, for 72 pages, not a whole lot actually happened.

Welcome back for Justice League of America, number 200, the March, 1982 issue entitled, A League Divided, written by Jerry Conway, with pencils by lots of artists.

This being an anniversary issue, not just an anniversary issue, but the 200th issue,

it had become a bit of a jam issue with lots of artists doing sections.

The framing sequences that sort of ties the whole issue together, done by George Parraise,

but it also features pencils by Jim

Aparo Brian Boland, Pat Roderick Dick Giordano Carmen Infantino Gil Cain and

Joe Cubert with inks by Jimaparo Terry Austin Brian Boland Brett Breeding

who does a lot of the inking in this Frank Giaciacoa, Dick Giorgano, Gil Cain,

Joe Cubert, with coloring by Carl Gafford, Adrian Roy, Anthony Tolan, and Tatiana Wood,

with letters by Joe Cuberts School and John Costanza, edited by Len Ween, and your technical advisor, a favorite of mine, Mr. Roy Thomas,

with a cover by George Perez. That's right. It's a big anniversary issue, a big 72-page behemoth.

But it's got a very simple story structure to do it, so I think I can fit it all within one episode.

I don't think I'll need to split this in the two. It would be sort of foolish to go and do that.

Being a jam issue and being a anniversary issue, just about everyone's involved.

So let's do the roll call. From the original team we have John Jones,

the Martian Man Hunter, Aquaman, Wonder Woman, Green Lantern, the Flash, the Batman, and Superman.

A roll call of new members are Firestorm, Red Tornadoes, Atana, the Adam, the Long Islander Man,

Black Canary, and Hawkman, with special appearances by Green Arrow, Adam Strange, and the Phantom Stranger.

They're all in here. They're all jammed into this story. We open up with a brief reintroduction of the first time the league got together to fight a group of aliens that came from the world. Appalax, Appalax, I guess I would call it. They were having a war on this planet. Everyone's different. Creatures are made out of rocks. Creatures are made out of wood. Creatures made out of crystal. They were tearing apart their own plan, so they sent seven of them to Earth to battle

it out on Earth to see who would be the champion. The Justice League fought them, each one of

the leaguers on their own font, and then at the end, they all came together when they had been
