Welcome back for Justice League of America, number 184, the November 1980 issue entitled

Crisis Between Two Earths or Apocalypse Now. Part 2 of the annual JLA, JSA crossover, brought to you by

Jerry Conway, writer, new artist for at least a couple issues,

George Perez, inked by Frank McLaughlin, Ben O the letter, Gene D'Angelo, the colorist,

Len Ween, the editor, featuring characters created by Jack Kirby, a cover by George Perez.

This would be the first issue after Dick Dillon's untimely death due to a heart attack,

but we'll talk a little bit about that at the end of the issue.

Let's dive right into the story.

We start off right where we left off with Firestorm, Power Girl,

and Orion discovering what the Injustice Society of Earth too have been up to on apocalypse.

They are resurrecting Darkside himself. They see what's going on? Orion, which is true to his nature, being a bit of a hothead,

flies off the handle and attacks the injustice society. Fiddler, who seems to be the mastermind

behind whatever's going on, involves his music, demands that the icicle and the shade protect him.

Remember, this is not our multi-layered shade provided to us by James Robinson in the Starman series.

This is the foppish silly.

That's hard to say.

Foppish silly shade.

Even harder to say after you've had a couple beers and watched Wisconsin beat Michigan State.

But, I digress, we see Icicle, shade, fighting.
