Summers, the Flash, number 266, or is this covered in the Rokes Health Insurance Plan?

Welcome back for the flash number 266, the October 178 issue featuring a cover pencil by

Our first story in this issue is Heat Wave plays it cool. That's right. Heat Wave

makes an appearance again. We get his origin story. Not as traumatic as you'd think it would be.

Written by Kerry Pates, bansett's by Ravinovick, inks by Frank McLaughlin, lettered by Benota,

colored by Gene Gangella. We begin, completely dark panel, black, word balloons inside of it.

We pick up the fact that it's a bunch of crooks hiding inside something.

One of them's named Moxie, which is a great name for a crook.

He's a go-getter, he shoots straight from the hip, he tells you like it is.

We got Travers.

It doesn't quite sound, you know, as sweet as Moxie sounds. But they're sort of arguing in whatever space they're, and they're saying that's a stupid idea. They're claustrophobic. They're scared of the dark. We see one of them light a lighter and they're wearing weird masks and some sort of strange backpack with them. And then one of them, Moxy mentions the fact that it is an awesome plan. Heatwave put it together.

We then turn to see Heat Wave sitting there

and looking right on.

I was saying, listen, we're trying to steal something

from the most well-guarded place in Central City.

So if we can't break in,

it only makes sense to try and break out by hiding

inside something, getting into the exhibit, and getting out the day it opens. See, there it goes.
