Welcome back for the Flash number 263, the July 1978 issue featuring a cover pencil by Joe Stanton, inked by Frank J. Coe, with the entire issue being edited by Julie Schwartz.

Our story in this issue is nobody stays a flash

forever. We begin with the splash page of Barry Allen rolling around and but angry, angry,

furious. Why a new heroes in town, the ringmaster, stupid gimmick, dumb look, but physically

handsome and successful stopping the golden glider.

He's got the love of Central City.

He's stolen Barry's wife, Iris, from him.

He's having a dream as he's rolling around in bed.

The flesh just sort of decrepit and old being walked to an old folks home by Ringmaster and Iris as they're laughing at him.

Oh, Barry, I feel so bad for you.

We go to the picture news where we see a lovely young reporter talking about the hottest new thing in Central City.

And that's right, it's the ringmaster, a gorgeous hunk who's gone around capturing the hearts and minds of everyone in town.

By what? Stopping the Golden Glider with giant expandable rings.

That's all these done so far.

Stop the Golden Glider.

The people of Central City so fast to turn on the flesh.

Of course, Golden Glider escaped and threw some well-rundered artistic drawings of the escape shown on TV.

We see what happened.

She's an ice cube to hypnotize the captain of the police force so she'd get out of here. Of course,

the flash is no help, according to the reporter because he is useless. He's past his

prime. He's over the hill. He's slowing down to a walk. Constant more and more digs.
