Tom versus Flash number two hundred fifty-nine or, hey, what happened to Stacy Conwell?

Welcome back from Flash number 259 to March, 1978 issue featuring a cover Penciled by

and our story in this issue is Black Hand, the Kill-Proof Criminal,

written by Kerry Bates, penciled by Irv Novic, inked by Jogiela,

lettered by Milton Snappen,

and funny, the colorist blank, it colored itself.

I guess how easy it was to color this issue.

It just handled it itself.

Where do we begin? We begin with the black hand.

Green Lantern, folks, come to Central City, still in the flash's aura.

Apparently causing the flash to, his aura and the protective aura, not like some new age

bullshit, you know, with his chakras and his chi.

Now, this is straight up science aura, the one that protects you when you move at super speed.

It's gone.

The flash burned up traveling at super speed or so we believed.

And we're getting a little bit of a recap of that via a film strip put together by the black

hand.

He's sitting in his hotel room,

showing us the film, uh, the flash with his, apparently his body melted in his boots on fire.

He's been up all night editing this thing, getting it together, scoring it, uh, getting a projector,

getting a screen. And he's sharing with us the audience.
