Welcome back to the Flash number 246 in January, 1977 issue, featuring a fantastic cover by Neil Adams,

with the entire issue being edited by Julie Schwartz.

The first story in this issue is Kill Me Flash, faster, faster.

Written by Kerry Bates, pencil by Irv Novick, inked by Frank McLaughlin.

We begin in Central City at a bowling alley, a bleak bowling alley, the star bowling lanes.

Giant yellow building, very mundane side on the front that says star bowling lanes with just

the round black circle symbolizing a bowling ball and tiny doors. This is a giant bowling complex.

No windows. Bleak, desolate. Horrible place to go bowling, but it's all they have in central

city. It's almost comical. The outside is interesting, but what's going on inside is

far more interesting, because we see Barry Allen and his wife, Iris, out relaxing. Barry has just

thrown a strike, but who are they bowling against? Stacey Conwell, the pretty young college student,

who has been crashing with them, causing problems here and there, and her new boyfriend, Chuck

Marston.

It's an interesting sort of situation because Barry is kind of checking out Chuck.

What's he up to? Iris even asks Barry, what he thinks to Chuck?

And Barry, like any good man says, let me see what kind of bowler he is first.

It's true.

There's some issue of Justice League secret things, that's what I'm going to call it,

where we see that Barry took all the other Justice Leaguers out bowling,

just to get a sense of where they are, who they are.
