Welcome back to the Flash number 243 to August 1976 issue featuring a cover by Ernie Chan

with the entire issue being edited by Julie Schwartz our first story in this issue.

One of my favorite flash stories of all time.

If I can't rob Central City, nobody can. Written by

Cary Bates, pencil by Rivenovic, inked by Frank McLaughlin, and we get credit for colors for the

first time, Carl Gafford. We start this issue, very different scene than we usually see. Usually

starts right off with the Flash, the main title character, the reason everyone's reading, but no, not this issue. This issue is

different, but the stars of this issue are the rogues. We see the rogues gathered. We know from last

issue that one of the rogues has died. The rest have been gathered together. We see Miramaster,

heat wave weather wizard, Captain Cold Trickster, and Captain Boomerang standing over a casket carrying

the body of the top they all look

sad and they're all vinging against the flash i don't even know vengeance is a word but i must they are if it is

they are they are venging how did the top die how did this happen did we miss it no don't worry flashback

we'll show us everything that's happening it all started with mirror master lounging in his mirror layer. I don't know if he's trademarked that, but I will sell it to him because his layer has a lot of mirrors. Properly positioned, a chair for lounging. He's sitting on it. A whirling child's toy of a top comes flying in.

We're not flies and fast, spinning of recorded voice yelling attention,

Mirrormaster, this is an emergency.

Mirrormaster recognizes that as the top's voice.

He throws on his mirror-powered jetpack, don't know the physics of that,

and follows the top as it's spinning out to the countryside.

Remember, Scudder, Mirrormaster, and Roscoe Dillon, the top were prison's spinning out to the countryside. Remember, Scudder, Miramaster, and Roscoe Dillon,

the top were prison cellmates. They hung out. They made sangria in the toilet together.
