Welcome back to the Flash number 232, the March April 1975 issue featuring a cover by Nick Cardi with the entire issue being edited by Julie Schwartz.

I'm going to do the full-length flash story at the beginning and tell you a little bit about

the reprints in the back. So, the flash story, the story we're covering in this. The brand new story is

death rattle of the 12-hour man, written by Carrie Bates, penciled by Irv Novic, and inked by Frank McLaughlin.

We start in the wilderness in the forest north of Blue Valley, Blue Valley being, of course, the town

that Wally West Kid Flash lives in. And he's doing what any teenage boy does to get away from

classes. He goes camping by himself. That's, that's weird. I've never gone

camping by myself. I'd be scared to go camping by myself, but he does it. He must have no friends that he

wants to bring camping with him, but he is in trouble. And it's probably best he named him

someone, because it's a unique kid flash type of trouble. We see him in his costume arguing with a bunch of

big, tall, blue alien-looking dudes who just gave him an ultimatum and some orders and said,

do what we say, and here's some proof that we can hurt you, points his finger and that little,

bang, shoots a laser blast at Kid Flash knocking him to the ground. We don't know what the ultimatum was.

What happened to the camping equipment?

Why was he camping by himself?

We cut back to Central City, where we see a young visitor coming to visit Barry and Iris Allen in their apartment.
