Best way back in the day to get a hold of some of these stories. But don't worry,

there's a Max Mercury, a Quicksilver story. There's a Johnny Quick story, and there's a Golden Age

Flash story that I'm going to talk about. So don't worry, we're going to have plenty to do here.

Let's get right into what's inside this issue. The first story is a reprint of the

gauntlet of supervillains from

Flash number 155. You might remember that story. It is Gorilla Grod manipulating all the

rogues against the Flash. Our second story is the Quicksilver slash Max Mercury story.

Now, if you don't know, if you're not familiar with the history of Max Mercury, he was actually a character named Quicksilver that was published by quality comics back in the 40s.

And he had very little information actually about him.

He just knew his secret identity was Max.

He had super speed and that was it.

So he had very vague background.

Mark Waite, of course, brought him back in the 90s in the Flash series.

When DC Comics bought up a bunch of comic book properties from quality comics,

Max Mercury is one of them.
