at a newly opened arena in town. That's right. It's a roller stadium, I should say, a roller

derby stadium. He's supposed to meet Iris at the press gate, but she's writing a big story about the newest

roller derby sensation, Kate Crasher.

It's had a bit of a revival recently.

Some of the girls are scary, like Kay K-crasher. A little frightening.

Well, Iris is so impatient for break. She doesn't even wait for him, even though he's only a half-hour

late, as he says. So he just assumes that she's gone inside. He goes in, grabs his seat,

he's wearing a suit, different time when you used to wear a suit to the roller derby.

That's how people dressed. Someone's screaming about the fact that number 28 looks like

she's about to get creamed. Barry looks out and sees that number 28 out there is Irish.

She's gone out. She's roller derbing as part of this story. And it's a little bit ridiculous

because Kate Crash is just

knocking chicks out of the way. She's coming right for Iris. Barry shows a remarkable knowledge about

the rules of roller derby, recognizing the fact that Kate is a jammer. And we see Kate just honing in

right in on Iris. Barry covers her eyes, covers his eyes.
