Oh, welcome back for the Flash number 172, the August 1967 issue featuring a cover pencil by a crime and infantino, inked by Murphy Anderson, with a whole issue edited by Julie Schwartz.

We start in the home of Barry and Iris Allen

with Barry being shocked. Just walking into the kitchen,

shocked. Why is he shocked? Could it be because Iris is cooking again, attempting to cook,

making him eggs? What's going on? He's just sitting there, slow as molasses, as Iris says,

just in total shock. The story switches to his

point of view, and we see that he is shocked and sitting still because Iris is moving at super speed.

The three-minute eggs took three seconds. She's blurred, just like how the flesh looks when he's

running around, and Barry can't figure out what's going on.

He eventually speeds himself up to Super Speed, and she starts to look like she's moving normal.

At least he stopped just gaping at her, so she isn't thinking he's having a stroke or something like that.

Well, she leaves and Barry's concern, because if she's moving at Super Speed, she might not be used to it, she might run into something, she might die, she might hurt someone. So he throws on his costume to head out after her when he finds that the entire city of Central City is moving at super speed. He's going fast, and everyone else seems to be moving normal now. His whole perception has changed.
