We begin in the breakfast nook of the Allen home where they're discussing their days, Iris and Barry,

what's going on. They both have problems. I know what that's like. You got a household

with two people working, everyone's got shit coming down on them from every direction. I do have to

say Iris is dressed rather nicely for what she's doing today. Well, her problem at work is that

she's covering the story about foundling homes, which I assume are for some of the numerous orphans

of Central City. And she said, it's got her down.

It's got her down. There's one sad little girl by the name of Bath. The only thing she can

remember is something called Black Beauty from her past. She's missing her parents. It's a real

sob. It's a real sob story. Well, Barry says, I got problems too. It probably not as bad as this orphan girl, but listen, Barry has problems.

As they get in the car to ride into town for work, he starts to explain that there's this

new criminal in town by the name of the Green Ghost. He's robbed a couple of banks, and he has

the ability to mysteriously disappear. Like, yesterday at the Midtown Trust Bank vault, dressed all up in green, he forced his way

into the vault.

When the manager shut it behind him, as you know, thinking, of course, will bring the cops

in, he'll still be stuck in the vault.

They showed up.

All the money was gone and the green ghost was gone.
