Welcome back for the Flash number 164, the September 1966 issue, feature cover pencil by Carmine Infantino, and inked by Joe Giella.

We start with the people of Central City being pissed at the Flash, not just rooting against

the Flash, not laughing at his misfortune as we've seen before, but angry, incredibly angry,

newspapers writing articles, The Daily Herald, writing public

eye against Flash mounts, newsmen on the TV telling the Flash to stay indoors, because

if the public sees him, they're going to tear him apart. They're going to rip him a new one.

So we see Barry Allen in his apartment blinds drawn, dark, lonely, drinking by himself

probably. We don't see a drink, but I get the sense that there is a, there's a fine beer

product, quite cheap, something cheap, sitting on the table, getting warm as he's thinking about

his problems. He's got a lot of problems.

super speed throwing vibrations everywhere this force just forcing him to do this the getaway car

of course gets away successfully for a change but the flash is tearing around central city at super speed

throwing vibrations into windows breaking him him, knocking women over, knocking
