Our first story is The Day Flash ran away with himself, written by Gardner

Fox, pencil by Carmen Infantino, inked by Joe Gellan, edited by Julie Schwartz. We start with an Iris

West full of pride, not angry, not bitter, not short of temper with Barry, but instead

proud of Barry. Why? But he won a chemistry award. For what?

I don't know, a chemistry contest, a discovery, perhaps just being the most consistent chemistry person in the world.

Who knows why he won the award, but he won it. And now Iris wants to take a dopey picture of Barry holding his award.

She takes it with her polarite.

She pulls the film out. But surprisingly, Barry isn't on the film. She proclaims, it's incredible.

You were invisible. Barry's thinking himself, it's true I was invisible. I got to cover it up. I got to make her think it's defective. He's like, ah, this film's all messed up. Let me take a picture of you. Of course, he vibrates his hands quickly enough to screw up the film so that when he pulls out his Polaroid picture of Iris, it's all blurry. She tells him to stay there. She's going to go get replacement film. She's not going to have one pulled over on her.

As she leaves, and Barry is standing there with his chemistry award.

He thinks about the fact that he does have to stay absolutely still.

There's a tremendous risk if he moves at all.

We then move on to a flashback of that day's events. And this is a real art

showcase for Carmen Antoinio, all kinds of action scenes. It's really a nice art showcase for it.

Because Infantino is great at designs of cars and action and characters and movement. And that's,

all this story is really about, really basic, basic story.

Earlier in the day of The Flash ran across a bunch of crooks robbing a bank.

Burglar Arm was going off.
