Tom versus Aquaman in The Brave and the Bold number 73 or, hey, Adam flies commercial.

Welcome back for Aquaman in Brave and the Bold number 73 to August, September 1967 issue featuring a cover fence by Carmen and Fantina, ink by Charles Quedera,

with the issue being edited by George Cashton in our Aquaman story,

and the Adam, because that's the team up in this, Aquaman and the Adam, is Galg the Destroyer,

written by Bob Haney with art by Seltrapani.

And in true brave and the bold style, we leap straight into the action.

It's Aquaman and Aquilad on patrol near the rich Atlantean mines, because that's where Atlantis is wealth comes to me into the mines filled with

diamonds and gold and all sorts of minerals that people want. And lately they've been having

problems, thieves, raiders, armed with high-tech weaponry, stealing the goods from the mines.

You know, Aquaman and Aquilad have shown up at the mines, hoping to maybe catch the Raiders,

and they're in luck. They do. They come upon a scene. Aquaman, Aquilad on their sea horses.

We see the Raiders who have their guns pointed at the Atlantean miners, who are horrible, small, trollish

creatures, probably bent to the will of the Atlanteans a long time ago, not worthy of considering

their feelings.

So we got to be worried about the minerals.

Yes, Aquaman and Aqualette caught the raiders red-handed.

Now they go to make their move on their seahorses. Aqualad orders C-Im to charge forward. But the Raiders have turned their guns towards Aquaman Aqualad, blasting him with the guns, knocking them from their steeds. The horses take off like, oh, it's panicky. There's Aquamane Aqualad stunned lying on the ground. The Raiders walking towards them looks like they're done for.

They're not going to be able to get all the way.

But just as the Raiders are crossing the tracks that the Atlantians used to bring the minerals back to Atlantis,

it seems kind of high-tech.

Not that I don't think Atlantis is high

tech. It's just you've not seen much examples of high technology from the Atlantans. I mean,
