Welcome back for Aquaman Adventure Comics number 272. The May 1960 issue feature cover,

pencil by Kurt Swan, by Stan K., with issue being edited by Mort Wisinger.

Our Aquaman story today is the human flying fish, written by Robert Bernstein, featuring

art by Ramona Frayden.

We begin, the Atlantic Coast, abandoned lighthouse, two men inside, staring out at the sea

with binoculars, one of them, the younger one noticing smugglers trying to escape from Aquaman in a speedboat, he's wondering if they'll be fast enough to get away from him. The answer is, of course, no. And the old man knows this says, old men are wise, these type of things. There's no way these smugglers are going to get away from Aquaman because of Aquaman's fish telepathy.

Or just he's just a good communicator is what I would say.

And as the younger man, who we know, his name is Bragg, the older man's Dr. Krill.

The younger man sees, yes, Dr. Krill was right.

A whole school of whales has surfaced blocking off the boat's escape path.

Though I have to question the artistic choice of showing just the guy looking out the window

with binoculars as opposed to the actual whale stopping Aquaman. But we need to know that

these old guys are watching what's going on.

Now, how did Dr. Krill know that Aquaman was going to make whale stop?

Well, he's obviously been following Aquaman's exploits.

This is the type of thing Aquaman does.

He uses whales to stop smugglers.

But as he says, he's an expert in three things.

Medicine, Marine Life, and Aquaman, which

if you had to choose three things to be an expert on, those are the three most lucrative

as far as money goes. If you're going to commit sea crimes, you've got to know all three of those
