Welcome back for Aquaman in Adventure Comics number 267, the December 1959 issue

featuring a cover penciled by Kurtzwan, inked by Stan K with the issue being added by Mordweisinger.

We have a very special situation.

This issue is sort of a team up between Aquaman and Green Arrow,

who are both backup features to Superboy in Adventure Comics.

It's also a story I've done previously as a fill-in for a reprint issue of the flesh way back in

April of 2009. So I did it a long time ago. So I'm not going to redo it. I'm posting the

recording that I did previously, plus some other stuff around it, some announcements at the end,

new phone call. But I already did it. It was pretty good. So I feel no need to do it once again. Sorry, last time it's going to happen,

because Aquaman really doesn't have the whole reprint thing that the Flash had had going for him.

So this will be the last time this happens. I apologize. Sorry. So it's an interesting story. Green Arrow, Aquaman,

switch places, and one fights under the water. Green Arrow, one fights on land, Aquaman. Our first

story is the Aquaman portion of it, the manhunt on land, written by Robert Bernstein, featuring

art by Ramona Frayden. We start this issue in a notorious state prison, what state we don't know,

where we see renowned criminal Shark Norton, a famous pirate, very topical to today with all of our pirate problems. He's sitting in his

jail cell thinking about how he's about to escape from prison the next day. And he is not going to

bother being a sea pirate anymore. Because Aquaman keeps catching him, he's going to stick to land

where Aquaman can't get him. Also in the same prison is Horace Kates, alias the wizard. Not the same wizard as the Earth 2-1. And I don't think we ever see this guy again. He's got glasses. And he's thinking, oh, man, tomorrow I'm going to get out of here. He's teaming up with the shark to escape. And he thinks, you know what,

Green Arrow keeps catching me on land.

I'm not going to commit any more crimes on land.

I guess he's going to go to the sea.
