the oceans filled with smugglers in the DC universe. They're trying to get through the Panama

Canal to the Pacific, where apparently things just go crazy. You can do whatever you want over in the Pacific,

but they see something extremely alarming.

Riding the cresting waves of the Atlantic Ocean is Aquaman,

riding Topo, majestically breaking through their waves,

white caps crashing around him.

He waves as a king saying, I will catch you smugglers.

And that's sort of confident way that Aguaman does,

and this freaks out the smugglers, because they can't get to the Pacific. The head smuggler, I know he's the head smuggler, because he has a captain's hat on and a plaid coat. That's when you wear when you're in charge of a smuggling ring, well, when you're middle management, because he's worried about the big smuggling boss.

smuggling boss, and he's recently stole something from an inventor, which is going to help them.

This is the golden age of Freeland's invention, back when a man could go into his basement and invent a weapon, something that shrinks people, something that turns them into ants. In this case, it's a shrinking ray, which are smuggling bosses stolen, which he's going to use to help the smugglers get to the Pacific Ocean. Now, how exactly is he going to do this? What we see him break out the ray?

Looks like an old-timey camera. Anything within its rays shrinks and can be brought back normal size by flipping the switch back, gets a smuggling boat in his sights, and shrinks it down, then fishes it out with a net. And he's going to bring the miniature-sized ship over to the Pacific somehow, and he's going to bring it back to normal.

So at this point, Aquaman has shown up riding Topo, cutting through the waves.
