number 229. Now, a few notes. If you've never listened to this show before, if you decided to

let me tell you what's about, I go over old comics. They're not reviews of old comics. They're not

replacements for old comics. They're just an appreciation of the enjoyment you can get from an

old comic with all the sort of weird things that go into it got to remember these

writing for a different audience wrote complicated little funny stories for kids that have weird

twist to them that through our modern eyes take on a whole new light and there's fun to be

had in these stories now i've done the justice league i've done the flash and now i've done

aquaman why aquaman because i find aquaman to be hilarious i find aquaman in most situations

to be unintentionally funny he's so serious and so many things happen.

And there's so much crime in the ocean.

Who would think?

It's a very different beast from doing the Justice League and doing the Flash.

Justice League had its own title.

Flash had his own title.

It was easy.

Aquaman, bit of a B-List character for a long time, was a backup feature in other books, adventure comics for a long time,

got his own book, then went back to adventure comics, showed up and backups on other books.
