Thank you for being here for episode 288 and now you guys like trip reports. Usually they are for Disney World but this one is different. This one is you may have heard about Disney cruise having the cruises to know where out of the UK and Tom being a UK resident decided to go ahead and take advantage so you'll hear all about his trip here in just a minute.

Hello Shannon, thank you very much. I am happy to talk to you. We are talking on Wednesday September 8th. Are you heading to Disney World soon by chance?

We're not actually. We're all the strangely. We're in the UK so unfortunately our last two Disney World trips have both been cancelled because of the the C word COVID and unfortunately we have a trip booked for Halloween this year but that who knows whether that will go ahead or not.

So it's an odd situation at the moment.

Okay, so what are you doing? No, you're going to ask me what we're not doing. So what we've managed to do is book on to one of the UK staycation Disney cruises.

So the Disney magic is running a number of two, three and four night staycation cruises where it leaves a port in the UK.

You get in our case three sea days and then you go back to the port you came from.

So it doesn't go anywhere. It just sort of pops around trying to find sunshine, but it's on the Disney magic and the Disney fix for folk in the UK at the moment, which is great.

It's the cruise to nowhere. It is the cruise to nowhere indeed.

Okay, so you said that these are available as two, three and four days. So which one of those are you doing?

Yeah, so we're doing a three night going on the 14th of September. So next week from Tilbury, which is just outside London.

It's a fairly small port. They've they've baged it as London, but it's it's a little way outside in reality.

But they've had four destinations around the UK over the summer.

Okay, so you said three nights. That means your trips to September 14 to the 17th.

Yeah, we get off on the 17th at probably very early o'clock.

Okay, got it. So that'll be fun. How far away from Tilbury, are you?

So we are probably about I should have known this by now. I think we're about an hour and a half by the time there's a tunnel involved in getting over the river tens and stuff like that.

So I think it'll take us about an hour and a half.

And will you arrive on September 14 or are you coming in the day before?
