It is time for daily updates from our 50th anniversary trip, but there's just one hitch in the plans

And that is that I am still at home in in Texas

I had taken the whole month of September off from traveling because my daughter is due to have her baby in the middle

September

But as this trip was set to begin she was 11 days overdue

So I decided to stay until she was able to have baby and make sure they're safe and get to meet the baby before

heading down to Florida

However, Heather is in Florida because we have an action-packed trip as you all know

There's a lot of new things going on at Disney World

So she was nice enough to record daily updates of what she's seen and doing until I can get there

And then I will take it from there. So I will join her hopefully within a couple of days

But here are Heather's updates from Thursday

Good afternoon

It is one out eight

On Thursday and I am coming to you from one of the new Incredibles rooms at Disney's contemporary resort

So I started my day off today over at pop century

I had a night over there and then moved today over to the contemporary resort

Just in preparation for the 50th we wanted to be close to magic kingdom and of course now the contemporary is probably best for that

And we wanted to check out the new

Incredibles themed rooms over here at the contemporary so very very excited for that

So if you didn't know the contemporary resort has been going over been under a big

Overhaul here recently and they've done a lot of work in the main lobby and then in the guest rooms
