Dear Lebanon, I'm sorry to write again, but I'm leaving your extraordinary country after four years.

Unlike your politicians, I can't extend my own town.

Tom Fletcher who was British ambassador to Lebanon for four years up until the 8th of

August 2015 Ambassador Fletcher blogged frequently for the British

government website. We just heard an extract from his final post. But he also

maintained his own personal blog under the title The Naked Diplomat, where he developed his own informal

irreverent take on what's been called digital diplomacy, dragging the conservative world
