He's one of the co-founders of the billion-dollar brand that is Quest. You guys probably know him as Quest bars. And he's going to be telling us all about how he went from being a random kid in Tacoma, Washington, to end up making the trek to L.A. and ultimately become one of the founders of the company.

It's done hundreds of millions of dollars in revenue, as well as to talk about some of his latest moves in terms of impact theory, his new company aimed at empowering and inspiring people.

enjoy my interview with Tom Billion. So Tom, we're here today with Tom Bill you, one of the founders

of Quest Nutrition. Tom has gone on to do a plethora of things, both in the

business sector, but also in the personal development sector with his show, Insight Quest. And by the time

this airs, he'll be launching Impact Theory, which is a new personal development media platform

where they're going to be sharing tons of insight and philosophies to help empower people to go for

more. So Tom, thanks for being on the show today. Man, thanks for having me and thanks for being here all day. You guys have been a lot of fun. It's been awesome to hang out. Absolutely, man. You've been a big inspiration to a lot of us out there. Wow, that's cool. Absolutely, man. So let's start from the beginning. Where did this all begin? This entrepreneur, unbelievable success that

you've had. Where did this, where did this all begin? Take us back. As with most grand things,

it started with misery. And that's the truth. And there's a, there's a fantastic Nietzsche quote,

difficulty, calamity, the knowledge of total loss and destruction. And because from that, you will find

out the answer to the only question that matters will you endure

and i thought hold like that gives me the chills just to butcher it um when you read the real

version it's just so powerful um and that's really at the center of every great accomplishment

is somebody gets fed up with the way that things are and they hit

rock bottom and they either stay there or they get up, they brush themselves off and they now
