The threat of the People's Republic of China, what is to be done?

Gordon Chang, I had Gordon G. Chang, my colleague and co-host and friend, and we welcome our friend and

colleague, Steve Yates, the chair of the America First Policy Institute's China Policy Initiative.

He's just returned from Western Pacific, East Asia.

Tokyo and Taipei.

I begin in Tokyo, however, first of all, it's a fabulous culture.

You enjoy yourself. The restaurants are superb.

At the same time, there's indication that after all the talk by Prime Minister Kishita,

the Japanese Self-Defense Force are backing it up.

A joint exercises between the Coast Guard of the United States, the Republic of Korea, and Japan.

Why? Because of the continued threats to the Philippines by the People's Republic of China.

Is this getting attention and endorsement in Japan and Tokyo in general that Kishita is backing it up with these joint exercises.

I definitely these topics were front of mind with our counterparts in Japan. I went to East Asia with my

FBI colleague Fred Flights who helped edit a book on the America First

approach to national security.

And we shared with them some ideas.
