So I just walk in and I open the fridge and I grab one and I was like, can I get a coffee too? And she goes, you have to sit down and your waiter will come. And I was like, oh, I'm like, what do you want me to do with this? Put it back. She's like, just keep it. And I knew she wanted to be like, you stupid American. You know what I mean? Like sit down at the table. America, we're like, give me this, this, this, this, and I'm gonna put this croissant

in my face and I'm leaving.

Like in Europe. You stupid American, you know what I mean? Like sit down at the table. Cause in America, we're like, give me this, this, this,

this and I'm gonna put this croissant in my face

and I'm leaving. Like in Europe, they sit down, they take their time, they have a coffee, light up a little seagull, have a nice talk, you know what I mean? It's like very, they take their time. We're just very American and go, go, go.

Hey guys, episode 190.

We are officially back. That's right. We're back in black. We didn't do this on purpose. Jordan actually just walked in the door, getting over a little cold from our trip. We're going to get into all that. But she just I rarely wear black, like all black. And she was just coming in

1:06.3

and I was like, texting our producer, writing on the, Jordan's running a little late, I'll set things up and I was laying on the floor, working on the computer and Jordan walks in like, are you wearing black? We always like wear the same color clothes or like the matching our background somehow. It's just weird to me. We've been together a very long time. It's like we are in sync with that. Yeah, and we

1:28.8

just came off as small quarters off of that cabin for 11 days. If you guys normally Jeff and I bicker like or get on each other's nerves and we always have bicker, we didn't bicker at all. We got along. Well, because it was an amazing trip. It was, we had the best time. I think it was a healing trip for you. Jeff was definitely back to his old self. Vacation Jeff is the best Jeff. Well, it's hard not to, like, first of all, I love, if you guys don't know, we did take a trip. We took a little European cruise with celebrity cruise line,

2:05.7

which is amazing. We started off with flew to Rome, had a day in Rome, we'll get to the details of that. Then we went to Greece, we'll get to the details of everything. Turkey and then back to Italy, hit a couple cities and then flew back out of Rome. But all in all, it was, what, 13 days or something like that? It was, it was a, will with travel.

2:26.8

I think it's, it's 11 day cruise,

2:28.5

but with travel and everything it ended up being 13 days. I thought at first it was gonna be too long being away from, excuse me if I'm coughing, from the boys, but it was nice. It was, I think it was much needed for us just to bond. We always put our kids before us. And I think it was just nice to have no responsibilities and let loose and just enjoy each other's company instead of just how it's typically been. Yeah, but again, it was much needed. I needed a break from life, from everything, from work, and it was nice just to reconnect with each other, but getting onto the trip. So, you know, the kids ended up being fine to put all that aside. You know, Jordan's mom and brother came in for a week and watched them, then my dad came in and kind of tag teamed and they left and my dad watched the boys for two weeks. And of course his parents are a little bit nervous. Like how are they gonna be? Are they gonna be sad some days? But they were great. We talked to them every morning before school because at a time change, it was like 3.30, I think, like our time getting ready for dinner. And we would be texting them. We'd be finishing happy hour.

3:45.8

We always had happy hour at four o'clock. So we would finish happy hour with Kirby. Gearby. Gearby. Yeah, we'll get it out all that stuff. We'll get it all that stuff. But let's just start from the beginning because it was such an amazing trip and I don't want to miss anything because we flew into Rome. You all right? Yeah, sorry.

4:05.0

So we flew into Rome our first day, getting into the trip.

4:07.4

And obviously those flights are the worst overseas and things like that. But we had it pretty smooth. It was pretty smooth. Yeah, it was pretty smooth. We ended up getting into Rome at like eight in the morning. So we go to check in our hotel and then the people are like, you can't check Intel too. I was like, I thought that was just an American thing.

4:24.2

Apparently it's everywhere.

4:25.4

And the place we stayed at was very European.

4:29.0

Everything was very small. Jeff and I could not fit in the elevator with two of us in our luggage. Yeah, well, it's Europe. Jordan hasn't really been around that much. I've been to Rome specifically, I've been to Italy. So I've been inside, you know, the

4:45.6

Colosseum and everything there is to do there. But I wanted Jordan to see as much as she could. I wanted to take her to the Sistine Chapel, St. Peter Square, the Vatican, all that stuff, the Spanish steps, fountain of trevy. So we put our stuff up. We're pretty tired. You know, obviously we had some drinks on the plane. We slept a little bit. We in, so we leave our bags with the hotel and we get a map. You can walk pretty much everywhere in Rome. It's maybe 30 minutes to walk to each place or something like that. Our hotel was south and the Vatican was kind of northwest. I'm like, let's just run up to the Vatican while we have time before we have to come check because I wanted to see as much as we could because early the next morning we're getting on our crews.

6:45.9

So we walk up to, we walk up to the Vatican thinking I'm going to, you know, run in there and see show the church to Jordan. There's so many people. I'm like, what is going on here? And all of a sudden we turn the corner. There's people everywhere and we see we walk up to a bunch of military people. Yeah, with machine guns. Yes. We like walk down the street very far still from the Vatican and there's people lined up all the way down. We could see the Vatican and then we see there's a projection screen. It happens that the Pope was there and it was Sunday mass. I didn't even put two and two together. I was like, oh man. So we go get ourselves a little apparel spritz. Oh, they're the best in Europe. I drank so many apparel spritz. They're so good. Yeah, they're delicious. They're very, you're being. And the wine was good. Normally wine gives me like a really bad headache here in the states. And there I got no hangover. I never felt bad. I never felt nasally. I felt good. You sound a little nasally right now. I am. I got sick when we were there because I was having too much fun and I'm dealing with it right now. Jordan's a little tight tie. She got run down. Luckily I stayed not sick. I took my vitamins and things like that. Hey, I'd knuckled up though. Yeah, you did. I'd knuck, I had fever and chills

6:47.9

and I just took a, what did I take? I'd be profan and just kept going. There's a lot to see. Yeah. Speaking of that. So we didn't really get into Vatican. You couldn't even get into St. Peter Square, which is a square, if you see very famously,
