Hey everybody, it's Rob Leifeld. Welcome to Rob Observations. I'm so excited about today's

episode. I cannot even begin to tell you how excited I am because it is about one of my favorite

subjects. Yes, I love comic books, but man, do I love my toys. And I know that you all

love your toys because before i knew

of comic stores i knew of toy stores toy stores have been everywhere in my life and toy departments

you know if there wasn't a toy store there was a toy department and man i was getting my toys on

i hope you were getting your toys on i think we're all still getting our on, okay? Even in the conditions that we're presently in, people are still

finding ways to play with toys. And what is more, uh, Christmasy, holiday, uh, subjecty

than toys. Cause come on, it's Christmas, right on the corner. And toys are just, I'm surrounded by them.

I've been fortunate enough to have been in the world of toys almost as long as the world of

comics because I was fortunate to watch so many of my wonderful characters and creations

get transformed into plastic. And there's just a next level experience that

comes with that when you see something that started on your page transformed into like 3D plastic

especially the better sculpted you know the more impressive and the packaging has gotten so amazing over the years.

But in my opinion, the packaging has always been amazing because like I said, man, I have loved

my toys forever. And speaking of my characters, my creations coming to life as toys, I just

want to kick off by the first week in January. we are going to do a five-part series called

The Making of Deadpool, the Making of Deadpool, from the page to your hands, to the spinner rack,

to comic stores, to toy shelves, to video game consoles, to mobile games, to two blockbuster

movies, a third one on the way, the making of Deadpool.

I'm going to just open my head and let it all pour out to you.
