Coming up at 508, we'll drink and toast with a show of the day. And we do have your headlines on the way of 550.

0:05.1

But first quick check on Mike Hogg and some of the stories and headlines, he is not working on.

0:08.6

Well, thank you, Miles. Influencers are promoting peptides for better health, but scientists recommend consulting a physician before taking them for yourself.

0:16.0

Not an influencer? I'll be damn. So basically, they said, look, yes, there are some peptides that have been tested.

0:23.6

A lot of them have not been.

0:25.5

So exercise some caution before you just...

0:28.2

What is a peptide exactly?

0:29.4

I don't know.

0:30.4

Okay.

0:30.6

Is there like a supplement you take?

0:32.2

The problem is that there's all sorts of fitness and health influencers that are out there, and they all want to find the next hack. They all want to be the one that just delivers like, all you have to, you know, they want to be the next Winneth Paltrow. Just shove this in there and you'll be fine. It also helps that she's super rich, was born rich, has always been rich, gets three square meals a day as a personal chef. You're like, sure. How about this? Do you want to exercise?

0:58.3

Exactly.

0:58.8

Eat right. Right. There's your hack.

1:02.4

I mean, honestly God, you want to look bigger, better, whatever? Exercise. That's the hack.

1:07.5

They get stupid with it. You know, like, our ancestors lived on the land, so we just ground up a bunch of grass from our yard. It's what nature intended for us to do. How long did they live? What was their lifespan? Well, the thing is that they don't even do it. They do it for the video, and I guarantee you, they're yakking it up as soon as they're done. Oh, but we're just so natural. Stop it. MIT researchers have successfully 3D printed

1:29.6

a working car motor. Huh. Okay. I don't know how I'd feel about that. Hey, did you know that

1:36.4

this car has a 3D printed motor? Like, it's gonna melt. It works. Possibly. I mean,

1:42.3

if it works, it works. I mean, they've done what, like a 3D printed heart? Yes. I believe. Yes, they have. I mean, as far as my comfort level, I feel better. I might feel better with that. I say my body. My body's not going to melt it. Right. If nothing else. It's just, it's going to be, you know, I'm going to have a weird plastic lump in there. If my body melts it, it's because I'm on fire.

2:02.3

I have a different problem.

2:03.5

Right.

2:19.1

And the thing is, is that I'm skeptical when it comes to 3D printing things, but I'm willing to see where it goes. It just depends on the materials they use as well. Sure. Right. Did they do it of plastic or did they make it out of like, you know, metal shavings or something like that? Right. Like I wonder if that's the future of prosthetics. Probably. 3D printing these things. It's a lot faster. Right. Is it more robust? Is it stronger material? Now granted, stronger material than what they've already got, probably not. But it doesn't need to be. Lightweight, easy to make, easy to manufacture, and probably on the cheap.

2:36.5

See, I'm a fan of 3D printing. Yeah. Just if you can make parts or anything like that, right? So, like, I want to say, like, NASA started doing it because everything's so specialized. You know, they're not using the Allen wrench from IKEA. Like every screw they use is it's just not a normal screw, right?
