A southwest flight in California was delayed for more than an hour because of a four-foot-tall 70-pound robot passenger that caused concerns. What the hell is a robot passenger? It's literally a four-foot-tall, 70-pound robot that somebody bought a plane ticket fort so that I could just sit there in the plane.

And so what was it doing that the flight was delayed?

It's giant-ass lithium ion batteries.

Oh, okay.

That is fair.

This thing's going to burst into flame, and the plane's going to go down.

Do you need a robot on the plane? I think they were merely moving the robot. I'm sure they'd buy the ticket. I do get that. But even if you should check the thing, right? You still have those batteries in the plane. Correct. And then you would not be alerted to the fact that there was a problem if it caught fire immediately. So I think the safest place to transport it is actually in the plane if you're going to allow it. I agree. Because they tell you like if you... Or ship the battery separate. Right. Because they do tell you, like if you're going from a check bag, yeah, carry on to a check bag, they ask you like, is there lithium ion batters? They want to know where it's at.

Yeah, absolutely. The thing that gets me is when they have to stop the plane because they figured out that they got one down in the cargo hold, like, how'd you figure that out? Well, my thing is with the robot, like, but why are we delayed an hour? Right. Look, either it's going to burst into flames or it is not.

Exactly. Get the goddamn thing off the plane if you're that worried about it. You remember a while back, it was the Samsung phones that were spontaneously combusting on those dog-al phones. Oh, yeah. A new study found that most Americans would give up nearly their entire paycheck for peace of mind.

Isn't that kind of the point of getting paid is a little bit of peace of mind?
