Congress has proposed a new bill that would impose a tax on EV drivers to, quote, ensure that electric vehicle drivers begin paying their fair share of our roads. That's $135 a year

and it would creep up to $150.

And they keep creeping up after that.

Yeah.

Or you could tax billion.

Well, the way they've got it, it's just the way they have everything structured. So right now gas pays for those taxes. 18 cents of every gallon, something like that. So if you're not paying those gas taxes but you're still using the road. Yeah. I mean, even I get that.

Yep.

Yeah, I get it.

Again, I'll say tax billionaires. That's all. You pay for a whole lot of stuff. We don't have to worry about it. EV cars are supposed to be more cost effective, damn it. Well, they are. You're not buying gasoline. And that's the thing. Like, I prefer EV, but I completely understand.

You're using the road.

I don't mind contributing.

Is that what my tabs are doing? In theory. Right. Who knows? Yeah. I have solar panels and I have more than I need. Yeah. So the energy goes back into the grid. Hooray. They don't pay me for that. What? No. So I lose it. I'm using energy that Miles has given up. But they're making him pay for it.

Yeah. Even though it's like free energy, the Miles is giving that. Oh, yeah. Oh, completely. No. Nothing's designed for you to make money. You are selling them a good at that point. I'm not selling them anything because they're not buying it. They're just taking it.
