If you look at the actual numbers, restaurants don't fail any more than any other business.

you lose money along the way, and then when you fail, you still have a leash you have to keep paying.

So you hear more about failures in restaurants

and other businesses, especially service businesses, you could fail and then just that's it.

You just turn off this spigot and all the people go home and that's it.
